NextGen Teaching Assistant

Job Summary

To enhance the quality of learning experiences for NextGen participants, the part-time Eastern Division NextGen Leader Teaching Assistant will manage assignment tracking and grading, assist in curriculum content creation, and provide administrative support, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Track and grade assignments, following up with participants on late or missing submissions
• Assist in creating curriculum content and suggest improvements based on participant engagement
• Manage administrative tasks related to the NextGen Curriculum binder and communication with supervisors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Previous involvement with Young Life, understanding its culture and organizational structure
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS), preferably Moodle
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with teams
