NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician SME

Job Summary

To support the launch of a new Phlebotomy Technician course, the remote contract NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician SME will review and validate course content for clinical accuracy, provide expert feedback, and hold weekly office hours for enrolled students from now until September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Review course content for clinical accuracy and NHA CPT exam alignment
• Provide feedback on errors, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Hold weekly virtual office hours to support students post-launch

Required qualifications

• Active NHA CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certification
• 3-4 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• At least 2 years of active venipuncture and specimen collection experience within the past 5 years
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Clinical Laboratory Science, Health Sciences, or related field (preferred)
• Experience with special collection procedures (preferred)
