NICET Level II Fire Technician
Job Summary
To ensure compliance with NFPA standards, the full-time NICET Level II Fire Technician will inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and sprinkler systems in a remote capacity during day shifts from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
Key responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct inspections of fire alarm and sprinkler systems
- Perform on-site testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of fire suppression systems
- Report inspection results in accordance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience
- Five years of experience in fire alarm and sprinkler systems
- NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarms or Water-Based Systems within one year of hire
- Plumbing experience is required
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including frequent lifting and standing
