Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Remote NJ Licensed Medical Malpractice Examiner will manage and investigate complex claims, collaborate with various stakeholders, and develop action plans while residing in New England, NJ, or NY.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and investigate complex claims to determine coverage, liability, damages, and resolution strategies
- Collaborate with insured parties, legal counsel, claimants, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process
- Monitor claim activity and provide recommendations on claim resolution strategies based on investigation findings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of claims management, insurance litigation, or related claims experience
- Experience investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex liability claims
- Knowledge of litigation processes, legal procedures, and settlement negotiations
- Ability to assess liability, damages, risk exposure, and claim value
