NJ Licensed Military Peer Specialist

Job Summary

Providing person-centered and culturally competent services, the full-time NJ Licensed Military Peer Specialist will engage with individuals seeking support via phone, chat, and text, while offering peer support and appropriate referrals in a remote work arrangement.

Key responsibilities:

• Engage individuals in an empathetic manner and provide customer-friendly services
• Review service requests and respond according to departmental procedures
• Document contacts and interactions with callers in compliance with established policies

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of active duty service or relevant military experience
• Ability to use a computer for recording services and performing basic office functions
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
