NJ Licensed Supervising Planner

Job Summary

Leading and managing projects related to Complete Streets, Vision Zero, and community placemaking, the full-time NJ Licensed Supervising Planner will oversee project quality, financials, and schedules while collaborating with various stakeholders in Morristown, NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project quality, financials, and schedules for multimodal and active transportation planning projects
• Develop competitive proposals and leverage relationships with NJ agencies to identify new opportunities
• Provide oversight and mentoring for department staff while collaborating across in-house disciplines

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in a consulting firm or public agency with leadership experience
• Master's degree in planning, landscape architecture, engineering, or a related field
• AICP and NJ Professional Planner license
• Strong working knowledge of NJ agency methodologies and existing relationships with NJ agency senior staff
• Proficiency in industry software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD
