NJ/NY Licensed Loan Processor

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote NJ/NY Licensed Loan Processor will manage the loan processing workflow, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating with clients and stakeholders to gather necessary documentation for underwriting.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform thorough reviews and analyses of borrower documentation before submission to underwriting
• Assemble complete loan packages and prepare loan approval summaries while ensuring compliance with mortgage regulations
• Manage a pipeline of loans, documenting all communication and assisting in training new processing personnel

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of residential mortgage processing experience, particularly in retail lending
• Experience managing a pipeline of up to 50 loans simultaneously
• Proficiency with Encompass and familiarity with various loan types, including FHA, VA, and Jumbo loans
• Knowledge of NJ and NY state-specific lending requirements and compliance standards
