Job Summary
To support women's mental health, the part-time contract Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management, and offer psychotherapy in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for women
- Provide ongoing medication management, including initiation and adjustment of psychotropic medications
- Offer psychotherapy and counseling utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities
Required qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license with a specialty in Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC), in good standing
- Licensed to practice in one or more of the following states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, VA, DC, and MD
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care and therapy, focusing on women's mental health
- Proficiency in medication management, particularly in psychopharmacology for women
- Experience providing psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, IPT, etc.)
