NLP Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time NLP Engineer will enhance existing NLP technologies and extend systems to new applications, focusing on clinical knowledge resources and performance evaluation in production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and extend NLP technologies and clinical knowledge resources
• Evaluate performance of NLP components on clinical documentation at scale
• Support team members in maintaining NLP systems and resolving customer issues

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of related professional work experience, with significant academic experience considered for advanced degree holders
• 4+ years of experience in linguistic processes
• 3+ years of experience in algorithms and techniques for text processing
• 3+ years of experience with natural language processing or formal linguistics
• 3+ years of experience with at least 2 programming languages, including Python, Java, or C#
