NMLS Licensed Direct Lending Specialist

Job Summary

To support the loan approval process, the full-time NMLS Licensed Direct Lending Specialist will perform loan analysis verification, assist customers and bankers with understanding underwriting requirements, and resolve operational issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform loan analysis verification by collaborating with customers, bankers, vendors, and underwriters
• Assist in understanding the loan approval process and underwriting requirements through inbound and outbound communications
• Provide problem resolution for operational issues to efficiently move loans through the approval process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• One or more years of relevant experience in loan processing or underwriting
• National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required
• Knowledge of underwriting and loan origination functions and applicable Federal and State laws
• Familiarity with U.S. Bank policies and procedures related to Direct Lending processing
