NMLS Licensed Direct Lending Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for loan analysis verification activities, the full-time NMLS Licensed Direct Lending Specialist will provide inbound telephone support and manage outbound pipeline ownership, assisting customers and bankers in understanding the loan approval process and resolving operational issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform loan analysis verification by collaborating with customers, bankers, vendors, and underwriters
• Analyze specific loan transactions and review documentation to facilitate loan approvals
• Resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with underwriting requirements and stipulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• One or more years of relevant experience in loan processing or analysis
• NMLS registration in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
• Basic knowledge of underwriting and loan origination functions and applicable laws
• Familiarity with U.S. Bank policies and procedures related to Direct Lending processing
