Job Summary
Responsible for loan analysis verification, the full-time NMLS Licensed Lending Specialist will assist customers and bankers with the loan approval process through inbound support and outbound pipeline management while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform loan analysis verification by collaborating with customers, bankers, vendors, and underwriters
- Guide customers and bankers through the loan approval process and underwriting requirements
- Resolve operational issues and ensure efficient movement of loans through the approval process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- One or more years of relevant experience in lending or financial services
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required
- Familiarity with underwriting and loan origination functions and applicable laws
- Basic understanding of U.S. Bank policies related to Direct Lending processing and underwriting
