NMLS Licensed Loan Officer

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage team, the part-time NMLS Licensed Loan Officer will originate home loans, engage with clients to assess their needs, and prepare complete loan applications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Originate purchases and refinances of home loans while maintaining communication with clients throughout the loan process
• Engage with consumers to determine their needs and provide appropriate mortgage products
• Develop borrower leads by making in-person calls to real estate agents and financial advisors

Required qualifications

• Active NMLS license
• Minimum of 2 years' origination experience in the mortgage or banking industry
• Solid understanding of product guidelines
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly demeanor with strong customer service orientation
