NMLS Licensed Loan Officer Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant (must be NMLS Licensed).

Key Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, real estate agents, and escrows at the start of the transaction
• Collects necessary documentation to complete loan transactions and assists with preapprovals and loan structuring
• Updates all parties on the status of loan transactions and orders standard loan requirements and verifications

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Two or more years of recent mortgage operations, underwriting, and/or processing experience
• Current hands-on loan officer assistant, processing, or underwriting experience
• Proficient product knowledge of various loan programs such as FHA, VA, and Conventional loans
• Understanding of compliance regulations and investor guidelines
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
