NMLS Licensed Loan Originator

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage lending team, the full-time remote NMLS Licensed Loan Originator will source leads, build relationships with real estate agents, and analyze loan applications to facilitate the mortgage process.

Key responsibilities

• Source mortgage leads and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans
• Analyze applicants' financial status and explain available loan options to customers
• Generate complete loan applications and maintain communication with real estate agents and referral sources

Required qualifications

• NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
• Experience with retail product philosophy, policy, and underwriting procedures
• Proven track record in proactively soliciting new business
• Knowledge of mortgage products and programs
• Experience with Encompass software is preferred
