NMLS Licensed Loan Partner

Job Summary

Supporting the Melville, NY office, the full-time remote NMLS Licensed Loan Partner will manage new purchase applications, issue pre-approval letters, and ensure timely loan processing from contract to close while collaborating with borrowers, loan officers, and third parties.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-ups
• Review loan applications and documentation for accuracy, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Monitor loan progress to achieve a 95% on-time closing rate while providing excellent customer service throughout the process

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in conventional mortgage loan processing or origination
• State and Federal NMLS License preferred
• Experience with RESPA and mortgage lending regulations
• Proficiency in Encompass and major investors' guidelines
