Job Summary
Supporting loan officers in the mortgage origination process, the full-time NMLS Licensed Mortgage Assistant will gather borrower information, prepare loan files, and ensure a seamless client experience while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Pull and analyze customer credit, review income and asset documents, and structure loans
- Act as the primary contact between clients and Loan Originators, handling application information and scheduling appointments
- Track requested documents in Encompass and/or Salesforce, ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal guidelines
Required qualifications
- Two years of professional office experience
- One year of mortgage or banking industry experience
- NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
- General knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines
- Prior experience with Encompass LOS system or other mortgage processing software
