Job Summary

Supporting loan officers in the mortgage origination process, the full-time NMLS Licensed Mortgage Assistant will gather borrower information, prepare loan files, and ensure a seamless client experience while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Pull and analyze customer credit, review income and asset documents, and structure loans
  • Act as the primary contact between clients and Loan Originators, handling application information and scheduling appointments
  • Track requested documents in Encompass and/or Salesforce, ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal guidelines
Required qualifications
  • Two years of professional office experience
  • One year of mortgage or banking industry experience
  • NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
  • General knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines
  • Prior experience with Encompass LOS system or other mortgage processing software
