Job Summary
Supporting the mortgage lending process, the full-time NMLS Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer will complete loan applications, ensure compliance, and provide exceptional customer service while working remotely in VA, MD, or NC.
Key responsibilities
- Completes loan applications and approves loan disclosures, ensuring all required information is accurate and compliant
- Determines appropriate loan program placement, prices loans, and locks rates in accordance with company policy
- Maintains communication with clients throughout the loan process, tracks loan progress, and meets production requirements
Required qualifications
- 0-2 years of mortgage or financial services experience preferred
- NMLS registration required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn mortgage products and guidelines
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
