NMLS Licensed Mortgage Processor

Job Summary

Managing loan files in a remote environment, the full-time NMLS Licensed Mortgage Processor III will ensure compliance, maintain a pipeline of 20 to 30 files, and prepare loans for underwriting submission while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify compliance documents within 48 hours of receipt and notify staff of any additional documentation needed
• Track and manage loan files, ensuring timely processing to meet contract deadlines and rate lock expiration dates
• Prepare loans for underwriting submission and clear any approval or suspense conditions as outlined by the underwriter

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience in conventional fixed, ARM, HELOC, and construction mortgage loan processing
• Extensive knowledge of VA and FHA loan processing and experience with multiple investors
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with mortgage loan processing systems, preferably Encompass
• Registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) in good standing as required by state regulations
• Strong commitment to customer service and enhancing customer service skills through education and training
