Job Summary
To support a growing mortgage lending team, the full-time NMLS Licensed Outside Loan Originator will source mortgage leads, build relationships with real estate agents, and analyze loan applications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Source mortgage leads and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans
- Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and explain various loan options
- Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to resolve mortgage application issues
Required qualifications
- NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
- Experience with retail product philosophy, policy, and underwriting procedures
- Proven ability to proactively solicit new business
- Knowledge of mortgage products and programs
- Experience with Encompass preferred
