NMLS Licensed Senior Loan Officer
Job Summary
To support a growing remote team, the full-time NMLS Licensed Senior Loan Officer will originate and process real estate mortgage loans while building relationships with real estate agents and sourcing mortgage leads.
Key responsibilities
- Source mortgage leads and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans
- Analyze applicants' financial status and property evaluations to determine loan feasibility
- Explain loan options and terms to customers, ensuring complete loan applications with necessary documentation
Required qualifications
- NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
- Experience with retail product philosophy, policy, underwriting, and documentation
- Proven ability to proactively solicit new business
- Familiarity with Encompass software preferred
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate credit requests and market trends
