Job Summary
To support a growing mortgage team, the full-time remote NMLS Licensed Senior Loan Officer will source leads, build relationships with real estate agents, and analyze applicants' financial statuses to facilitate the origination and processing of mortgage loans.
Key responsibilities
- Source mortgage leads and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans
- Analyze applicants' financial status and credit to determine loan feasibility
- Explain various loan types and terms to customers while generating complete loan applications
Required qualifications
- NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
- Experience with retail product philosophy, policy, and underwriting procedures
- Proven experience in proactively soliciting new business
- Knowledge of all mortgage products and programs
- Familiarity with Encompass software preferred
