Job Summary
Supporting assigned Mortgage Loan Originators, the full-time NMLS Registered Mortgage Loan Assistant will perform administrative tasks such as collecting documentation, responding to borrower inquiries, and utilizing marketing tools to enhance business growth, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Collect required documentation from borrowers and respond to loan status inquiries
- Utilize marketing tools to assist in growing the Mortgage Loan Originator's business
- Maintain positive relationships with other departments within U.S. Bank Home Mortgage
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in administrative support activities
- NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
- Knowledge of mortgage processes and the life cycle of a mortgage file
- Experience in sales support is preferred
