NMLS Registered Mortgage Loan Assistant

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage team, the full-time NMLS Registered Mortgage Loan Assistant will perform administrative tasks for assigned Mortgage Loan Originators, including documentation collection, borrower communication, and collaboration with operations partners, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Mortgage Loan Originators by collecting required documentation and responding to borrower inquiries regarding loan status
• Utilize marketing tools to help grow the Mortgage Loan Originators' business
• Maintain positive relationships with other departments within U.S. Bank Home Mortgage

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience in administrative support activities
• NMLS registration required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
