NMS Consultant

Job Summary

To support Network Operations and TNS business units, the part-time NMS Consultant will develop, deploy, and maintain management and monitoring solutions while providing technical guidance and solving complex problems remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain highly available management and monitoring solutions
• Provide guidance to team members and transfer knowledge of technical skills
• Consult on complex technical issues and contribute to project success at the customer management level

Required qualifications

• B.S. (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; MS preferred
• 7+ years of design and operations experience with large-scale NMS platform deployments
• 3+ years of experience managing Network Monitoring and Management platforms
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with configuration, debugging, and problem resolution of complex NMS platforms
• Certification in applicable NMS platform technologies
