NOC Engineer

Job Summary

Monitoring client infrastructure, the full-time NOC Engineer will troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, provide technical support to customers, and ensure the reliability of network services in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to network incidents and restore service efficiently using DGI's monitoring platform
• Provide direct technical support to customers through phone and email, documenting all interactions in the ticketing system
• Produce troubleshooting guides and provide recommendations to enhance infrastructure stability

Required qualifications

• Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or within a Network Operations Center
• Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies, including Cisco and Juniper
• Knowledge of network security principles and enterprise wireless technologies
• Basic understanding of Cisco applications and collaboration deployments
