NOC Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the NOC Engineer will provide tier I technical support, manage system alerts, and maintain NOC tools while following a rotating overnight shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent client support via telephone and email, addressing inquiries with urgency
• Monitor and respond to system alerts, performing root cause analysis and documenting processes
• Maintain administrative competencies of NOC tools, including backup, disaster recovery, and security solutions

Required qualifications

• Proficient in technologies such as Windows Server, Office 365, and various NOC tools
• One or more certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Security+ preferred
• Experience with MSP applications like ConnectWise, N-Able, and IT Glue is desirable
• Ability to perform automation and scripting tasks
• Working knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
