NOC Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Support Administrator (NOC Engineer) will provide 24x7 support for managed database and application infrastructure operations, monitor performance, respond to incidents, and maintain operational procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor application performance and system alerts, responding to incidents and escalating issues as needed
- Coordinate and administer solutions while participating in customer incidents, providing updates and clear communication
- Configure and maintain servers at the database and infrastructure level, troubleshooting operational problems proactively
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with GCP and operating in a Linux environment
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and network administration concepts
- Knowledge of SQL Server and monitoring tools such as ICINGA, Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Relevant courses and certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are preferred
