NOC Engineer I
Job Summary
Providing comprehensive support for network health, the full-time NOC Engineer I - Outage Management will monitor outages, coordinate resolution efforts, and analyze performance issues remotely while working the 3rd shift schedule from 11 pm to 7 am.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates network outages with various teams to ensure quick and effective resolution
- Performs event notifications for internal teams and external customers
- Diagnoses and resolves escalated network performance problems while monitoring impacted systems
Required qualifications
- Strong understanding of Ethernet and TCP IP networking, including FTTH and GPON technologies
- 2-4+ years of professional network operations experience or five or more years of related engineering experience
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- CCNA certification preferred
- Ability to work a 24/7 operational schedule, including nights and weekends
