NOC Engineer III

Job Summary

To support the logistical demands of a growing team, the full-time remote NOC Engineer III will configure network hardware, monitor network elements, and assist in activating and repairing services while collaborating with field teams and documenting changes.

Key responsibilities

• Configure basic network hardware for deployment and monitor network elements using established tools
• Turn up and test basic circuits and assist in activating services like Internet and Managed Wi-Fi
• Document network changes and collaborate with field teams on hardware replacement or repairs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field, or an Associate's Degree with two years of experience, or four years of experience in a service provider or network engineering team
• At least one associate-level networking certification (CCNA, CWNA, JNCIA, Network+)
• Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or MikroTik RouterOS
• Knowledge of wired Ethernet LANs, wireless LANs, and P2P/P2MP microwave wireless solutions
• Experience with network automation tools such as Python or Ansible
