Job Summary

Seeking an experienced NOC Support Engineer, the full-time or contract position offers a remote opportunity to manage critical network infrastructure, providing real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and customer communication in a shift-based, 24x7 operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for network incidents, performing deep-dive troubleshooting and leading post-incident root cause analysis
  • Analyze network performance data to proactively identify issues and enhance monitoring tools for improved alert fidelity
  • Act as a technical liaison during high-priority incidents, engaging with internal teams and external vendors for advanced troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in network operations, engineering, or a senior NOC role
  • Expert-level troubleshooting skills in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
  • Proven experience with Cisco and Juniper hardware in production environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead incident response and manage escalations effectively
  • Experience conducting formal root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans
