NOC Team Lead
Job Summary
Leading a team of technicians, the full-time NOC Team Lead will manage day-to-day Network Operations Center functions, ensuring maximum network uptime and rapid incident response while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Assist with escalated issues, ensuring proper handling and resolution
- Manage and coach NOC staff, including performance evaluations and training
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of Network Operations experience, with a focus on fiber network operations
- 5+ years of Supervisory/Managerial experience
- Expert knowledge of metro fiber service delivery and optical test equipment
- Expert understanding of Layer 1/2/3 protocols including DWDM, Sonet/SDH, and MPLS
