NOC Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a NOC Technician (Network Operations Center).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and availability of network systems and provide shift support
• Provide second-level technical support and document processes and incidents
• Interact with customers to provide technical assistance and notifications regarding service impacts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in a related field preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of network topology and internet routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.)
• Experience with VOIP technologies and basic router and switch operations
• Ability to perform initial troubleshooting and technical analysis of issues
• Experience working with switches and routers in a dynamic operations team
