NOC Technician

Job Summary

Monitoring network performance remotely, the full-time NOC Technician will be responsible for proactive and reactive network monitoring, acting as the first contact for alerts and incidents, and coordinating communication with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network sites and analyze performance using various monitoring tools to identify issues
• Act as the first tier in alert response and incident resolution for customer-impacting issues
• Perform initial troubleshooting and ensure proper escalation to relevant technical teams

Required qualifications

• At least 3 months of related experience or training, preferably in a Network Operations environment
• Flexible to work alternate shifts to support a 24/7 operation
• Ability to work under pressure
• Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) preferred
• Working knowledge of modems and basic networking preferred
