Job Summary

Providing industry-leading customer service in a fast-paced network control center environment, the full-time NCC Tier I Technician will respond to stakeholder inquiries, monitor tickets and alerts, and collaborate with teams to resolve customer issues.

Key responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders through multiple communication channels
  • Monitor and manage tickets, alerts, and general inquiries while documenting customer issues and escalating unresolved problems
  • Communicate updates to customers and resolve inquiries using documented processes when possible
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • Zero to one (0-1) years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining SONET and DWDM networks
  • Zero to one (0-1) years of customer service experience, preferably in a NOC environment
  • Knowledge of Ciena, Infinera, Nokia, Cisco, and Fujitsu SONET and DWDM equipment preferred
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously
