Nodal Trader

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nodal Trader to join their team of traders in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve the performance of the Point-to-Point Obligation Bid and daily spread trading program
• Advance virtual trading of supply and demand based on market fundamentals
• Construct profitable FTR/CRR portfolios and develop analysis programs for trading

Required Qualifications

• Direct experience with nodal markets and/or futures markets
• Understanding of ISO transmission systems and supply stacks
• Experience with power flow simulation tools
• Ability to independently manage a profitable trading book
• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred
