Non-Delegated Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Non-Delegated Mortgage Underwriter III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage individual pipeline by completing conventional loans and underwriting tasks within established turn times
• Identify document deficiencies and request additional information from clients as needed
• Assist other personnel in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating loan status

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage industry experience, with 3 years of recent frontline underwriting experience preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Encompass LOS preferred
• Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
• College degree preferred but not required
