Non-Delegated Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Non-Delegated Mortgage Underwriter III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage individual pipeline by completing conventional loans and conducting underwriting reviews
• Identify document deficiencies and request additional information from clients as needed
• Assist other departments with interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating loan statuses

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the mortgage industry or residential mortgage loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry and applicable regulatory compliance
• Advanced knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
