Non-Profit Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Non-Profit Financial Controller to manage its financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration
• Manage external bookkeeping/accounting firm to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and manage the annual audit process

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in non-profit accounting, specifically with 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and non-profit financial management principles
• Proven experience leading financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
