Non-Profit Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to provide financial leadership and expertise on an interim basis for a non-profit client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure fiscal stability
• Oversee annual budget preparation and management, including cash flow forecasts
• Ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with non-profit regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior non-profit role
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and fund accounting
• Expertise in tax filings, particularly Form 990, and grant compliance
• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks Online
• Strong ability to manage complex revenue streams, including grants and private funding
