Non-QM Regional Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regional Underwriting Manager (Non-QM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Underwriters on processes and guidelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Underwriters regarding questions and clarifications
• Manage the underwriting pipeline and ensure compliance with service level agreements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications are required; USDA experience is a plus
• 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting Experience with agency guideline knowledge
• 5+ years of underwriting supervisory experience
• Experience with Encompass LOS and knowledge of ATR/QM requirements
