Non-QM Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Non-QM Underwriter responsible for analyzing and evaluating non-QM mortgage loan applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Render approval or denial of mortgage loan applications in accordance with regulations and guidelines
• Analyze and evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers through financial documentation review
• Underwrite and recommend approvals or denials for government loans and non-conforming products

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Underwriter
• 1+ year of experience with Non-QM and/or Jumbo loans
• Knowledge of current regulations governing mortgage lending
• Familiarity with investor and agency guidelines
• Experience with Encompass preferred
