Non-QM Underwriter

Job Summary

Non-QM Underwriter is a full-time remote position responsible for underwriting Non-QM and Non-Agency loan products, maintaining a loan pipeline, and communicating with internal teams and external lenders.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Non-QM and Non-Agency loan products and maintain a pipeline of new loans and resubmissions
• Evaluate loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with guidelines
• Issue loan decisions and collaborate with the Post-Closing department on stipulations for closed files

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Experience with Non-QM and Non-Agency underwriting
• Experience with manual underwriting and compliance requirements
• Encompass LOS experience is a plus
