Non-QM Underwriter
Job Summary
Analyzing and underwriting residential mortgage loans, the full-time Non-QM Underwriter will issue clear underwriting decisions for loans that fall outside traditional agency guidelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and underwrite Non-QM loans, including various borrower profiles
- Analyze complex income documentation to determine loan eligibility
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards while communicating effectively with brokers and internal teams
Required qualifications
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience required
- Recent experience in Non-QM and wholesale underwriting required
- Strong understanding of income analysis and compliance regulations
- Proficiency with Encompass LOS and AUS systems preferred
