Job Summary

A company is looking for a Non-QM Underwriter Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Non-QM underwriters, ensuring adherence to guidelines and standards
• Perform in-depth underwriting of Non-QM loans and assist with escalated decisions
• Monitor underwriting pipelines and conduct quality control reviews to identify areas for improvement

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Non-QM underwriting experience with expertise in specific loan types
• Experience mentoring or leading a team of underwriters
• Proficiency in manual underwriting and advanced income analysis for self-employed borrowers
• Familiarity with loan origination systems such as Meridian Link or Lending QB
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and investor guidelines
