Nonprofit Corporate Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Controller to lead the accounting team and report to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial statements
• Coordinate and support annual audits, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a nonprofit environment
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Proficiency in accounting software commonly used by nonprofits
• Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit regulatory compliance
