Nonprofit Finance Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the financial strategy and day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of nonprofit clients, the full-time remote Nonprofit Finance Manager will manage client relationships, prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, and ensure compliance while providing actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide finance management support and serve as a key point of contact for 10+ client accounts
• Prepare comprehensive monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements and conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis
• Monitor and maintain ongoing financial compliance across client accounts, ensuring audit readiness

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, nonprofit management, or related field
• 2-5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in nonprofit finance
• Proven experience in nonprofit financial management, including 990 preparation and GAAP requirements
• Advanced QuickBooks skills, preferably ProAdvisor Certified
• Exceptional client service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
