Nonprofit Financial Strategist

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Nonprofit Financial Strategist for a full-time remote position who will lead financial direction and oversee accounting operations for a portfolio of 10-12 nonprofit clients, providing high-level analysis, actionable insights, and mentorship to finance teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead annual budgeting processes and prepare budget-to-actual reports with clear analysis for clients
• Review and enhance finance processes, creating written and video SOPs for operational efficiency
• Support audit processes and ensure clients are audit-ready through proactive organization and compliance

Required qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in nonprofit financial management, including 990 preparation and audits
• Advanced skills in QuickBooks and proficiency in various accounting and financial software
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple nonprofit client relationships simultaneously
• Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
