Nonprofit Financial Strategist
Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Nonprofit Financial Strategist, the full-time remote position will manage financial direction and oversee accounting operations for a portfolio of 10-12 nonprofit clients, providing high-level analysis, actionable insights, and mentorship to finance teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead annual budgeting processes and prepare budget-to-actual reports, delivering financial forecasts and insights to clients
- Review and improve finance processes, creating documentation to enhance operational efficiency
- Support audit processes and ensure clients are audit-ready by maintaining organization and compliance
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit financial management, including 990 preparation and audits
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple nonprofit clients simultaneously
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
