North Carolina Community Engagement Director

Job Summary

To support the implementation of the NC ROOTS Hub, the full-time salaried NC ROOTS Director of Community Engagement & Partnerships will build and sustain a network of community-based organizations and local stakeholders, ensuring community voices are integrated into program design and outcomes while working remotely within specified regions of North Carolina.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a comprehensive regional community engagement strategy aligned with NC ROOTS priorities
• Build and manage a robust network of community partners across the region
• Design mechanisms to capture and integrate community input into program assessments and refinements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and three years of experience with community-based organizations or diverse populations
• Valid driver's license
• Residency in North Carolina within Region 2 of Trillium's catchment area
